At Hooghly Imambara, India

Imambara is a Shia Muslim congregation hall and mosque established in 1861 in the town of Hooghly, 55 km from Kolkata.

The man in the frame is claimed to be the last guardian of secrets at Imambara. He tells the stories of the Kings and Nawabs who once lived in the halls of Imambara. He knows where these royal souls lived, ate and took bath in rose water.

The frame shows his residence among the walls of Imambara. He lives alone. His family has all perished, surrendering to the force of time.
